Legal Pages – FitCampPRO Events

2. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FitCampPRO (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you visit our websites, register for FitCampPRO events, purchase tickets, participate as an athlete, fan, EXPO visitor, sponsor or partner.

2.1 Data we collect

2.2 Legal bases (GDPR / EEA / Norway)

For Canada we comply with PIPEDA (and applicable provincial laws including Quebec Law 25). For the USA we comply with applicable state laws (e.g. CCPA/CPRA where thresholds are met).

2.3 Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA (including “Do Not Sell or Share”). To exercise rights contact info@fitcamppro.com. We respond within the statutory timeframe (usually 30 days under GDPR).

2.4 International transfers

Data may be transferred outside your country. Where required we use appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, etc.).

2.5 Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated or as required by law (e.g. tax records).

3. Cookie Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies. Under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR (applicable in the EU, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia and Norway) non-essential cookies require prior consent.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or by clearing cookies. See the banner at the bottom of this page for live controls.

4. Terms of Service

By accessing the websites or registering for any FitCampPRO event or service you agree to these Terms.

4.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) or have parental/guardian consent.

4.2 Event participation

Registration is subject to availability, payment (where applicable) and acceptance of the Participant Liability Waiver. We may refuse or cancel participation for safety, conduct or capacity reasons.

4.3 Intellectual property

All content, branding, programme materials and trademarks remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy or commercialise them without written permission.

4.4 User conduct

You agree not to disrupt events, harass others, or use the services for unlawful purposes. See also the Code of Conduct.

4.5 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence in many EU jurisdictions).

4.6 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection and privacy rules of your country of residence continue to apply.

5. Refund, Cancellation & Ticket Policy

EU / EEA / Norway note: Under the Consumer Rights Directive the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities that provide for a specific date or period of performance (tickets for events, sports, camps, tournaments). We therefore do not offer a statutory cooling-off period for dated event tickets.

5.1 Consumer (B2C) tickets & registrations

5.2 B2B sponsors & partners

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the individual sponsorship or partnership agreement.

Full pricing, fees and any service charges are shown before payment is completed.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Not medical advice. FitCampPRO programmes, content and events are for general fitness, performance and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical, nutritional or therapeutic advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise, diet or body-composition programme, especially if you have a medical condition, injury or are taking medication (including GLP-1 agonists).

Participation in physical activities involves inherent risks of injury. Results vary and are not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) and limit our liability as described in the Terms of Service and the Participant Waiver.

7. Participant Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Release

By registering for or participating in any FitCampPRO physical activity, training camp, tournament, EXPO activity or related event you agree to the following (to the maximum extent permitted by the law of the place where the event occurs and your place of residence):

7.1 Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in fitness, sports, training and related activities involves inherent, known and unanticipated risks of serious injury, including but not limited to strains, fractures, cardiovascular events, permanent disability or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Released Parties (to the extent such assumption is legally permitted).

7.2 Release and Waiver of Claims

I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue FitCampPRO/DreamFitPRO, its owners, directors, officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, agents, sponsors, venue owners and affiliated companies (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury (including death) that may be sustained by me while participating in or travelling to/from the activity, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Important jurisdictional note: In many EU/EEA jurisdictions (including Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia and Norway) clauses that exclude or limit liability for personal injury caused by negligence are restricted or void under unfair-contract-terms rules. This release is therefore enforceable only to the extent allowed by mandatory local law. In the USA and most Canadian provinces (outside Quebec) properly drafted waivers for ordinary negligence are generally enforceable; they never cover gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

7.3 Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including reasonable legal fees) they may incur arising out of my participation or my breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by the Released Parties’ gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

7.4 Medical Fitness & Emergency

I declare that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would make participation unreasonably dangerous. I consent to emergency medical treatment if needed and agree that any medical expenses remain my responsibility.

7.5 Minors

If the participant is under 18 (or the age of majority), a parent or legal guardian must sign this waiver and accepts full responsibility.

Electronic acceptance (clickwrap or e-signature) of this waiver during registration constitutes a legally binding agreement under applicable electronic-signature laws (ESIGN/UETA in the USA, eIDAS in the EU/EEA, and equivalent Canadian legislation).

8. Code of Conduct

All participants, athletes, fans, EXPO visitors, sponsors, partners and staff must:

Violation may result in immediate removal without refund and possible ban from future events.

9. Media, Photo & Likeness Release

By participating you grant FitCampPRO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use photographs, video recordings and audio in which you appear for event documentation, promotional, educational and commercial purposes in any media. You may withdraw consent for future marketing use by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect material already published.

Under GDPR, image data is personal data. We rely on legitimate interests for event documentation and on consent for broader marketing use where required.

10. B2B Sponsorship, Partnership & Team Terms

Sponsorship, partnership and team participation are governed by separate written agreements that take precedence over these general terms. Key principles include:
